Crescent cells, dengue fever creates serious complications in young patients

Nagpur: Crescent cell patients are infected with dengue fever in large quantities, especially in the past four weeks.
In addition, complications in SCD patients (SCD) first after they developed dengue fever, said the doctor treats them in the city.
“This year’s dengue fever outbreak is not like before.
The pediatric population becomes the worst hit.
Many children who have SCD suffer severe complications,” said Dr.
Vinky Rughwani, recorded pediatricians and Director of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Center, Nagpur.
The hospital has more than three SCD patients and those infected with fever with a certain day in the past four weeks, he said.
The situation at the Medical College Hospital (GMCH) and Mayo Hospital are also the same.
“SCD patients already have low immunity.
The risk of severely severe fever is higher in these patients.
Many of them need ICU receipts.
One of them died recently,” said a doctor from the Mayo Hospital.
The doctor said that even though Vidarbha experienced a massive surge in dengue cases, there were no special studies carried out in India through SCD and a combination of dengue fever.
“Even in India, the dengue fever outbreak is not as big as the Vidarbha area elsewhere.
We have a massive surge in dengue cases, and it’s time to protect SCD children from mosquito bites,” said Dr.
Rughwani.
According to experts, dengue fever produces inflammation while endothelial dysfunction (ED) is a known feature of SCD.
Both complications together can proven fatal.
The crescent cell society in India recently submitted a memorandum to the GMCH Dean and demanded the right treatment for SCD patients in the hospital.
“SCD patients did not get the treatment we used to get before at GMCH.
Wednesday the OPD used mainly for SCD children under 12 years stopped.
HPLC machines do not work since the last five years,” Jaya Kampat Ramteke, President Group.
The combination of turning off more patients with SCD infected with the majority of fever with these patients who require ICU revenues, some deaths have also been registered in complications in SCD patients with more dengue fever than SCD children who must be protected from mosquito bites and require special care
