Puducherry: A cum coach of a senior cricket player in Puducherry has been ordered on sexual allegations who harass a 16-year-old girl, who aspire to become a cricket.
The police also ordered four representatives from the Pondicherry Cricket Association (CAP), which involved the coach to hold a training session, on charges of failing to report crimes to competent authorities.
Mettupalayam police said Childles had continued the complaints submitted by the girl accusing a senior player of the cum coach Thamarikannan harassed him by touching his shoulders, back and chest despite raising rigid opposition.
He said he had brought a problem with the knowledge of four hat representatives but none of them had initiated to prevent this thesis to harass him.
He said Thamarikannan had sent him by stating that he loved him and threatened that he would not train him if he refused his proposal.
He told Thamarikannan, about learning about his intention to file a complaint, he had met him at his home with his wife and pressed him not to file a complaint.
But he went ahead and filed a complaint with the lines of children, who continued the complaint to him Mettupalayam police after the police ordered Thamarikannan and four others under various parts of children’s protection from Sexual Offens (Pocso), 2012 and began an investigation.
Stopping all charges of false accusations, Secretary of the Chandru Hat said the girl had not filed a complaint of sexual harassment to anyone against the association but his mother filed a complaint against Thamarikannan who accused him.
Chandru said the association had conducted a high-level inquiry and prohibited the thamarikan from playing cricket for one year.
