New Delhi: A 26-year-old man was arrested after a fire exchange in the Dwarka Delhi area southwest, officials said on Saturday.
Rahul aka Kuldeep Kasana was allegedly a Jiter shooter and Ashok Pardhan Gang and desired in the case of murder attempts, they said.
He also jumped parole in the kidnapping case registered at the Anand Vihar police station, police said.
During a cross shooting, five rounds were fired, the three were accused of accused, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Santosh Kumar Meena said the tip-off was accepted that Rahul would take the Bamnoli road and go to Dwarka with a white two-wheeled.
“When he was seen, the police team tried to arrest him but he fired a shot in two police officers who fled with no injured.
In self-defense, the team fired again.” The defendant suffered a bullet injury at his right leg and rushed to the hospital, he said.
The police said one sophisticated gun along with two live cartridges other than three empty cartridges were restored from the place along with the stolen two wheels.
