LONDON: Cristiano Ronaldo will use number seven of Manchester United who are iconic again after Edinson Cavani agreed to hand over the shirt.
Ronaldo followed in the long list of Legends United to be used number seven during his first mantra with United from 2003 to 2009.
The 36-year-old child rejoined Juventus last week, but Cavani has number seven this season, increasing the possibility of Ronaldo must wear different clothes.
But Cavani has agreed to exchange up to 21 – the number of veteran strikers used for Uruguay – so Ronaldo can reclaim his old jersey.
