WASHINGTON: Federal Emergency Management Administrator (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell said on Friday that the US countries now have more authority to use national guards to respond to pandemics.
“With the support of the President, I now direct our FEMA policy expansion to allow funds to countries to use their national guard forces to fill this critical supporting role at the hospital,” Criswell said.
