NEW DELHI: Union ministers and leaders cutting across party lines Tuesday welcomed the Centres choice to cancel the CBSE Class XII board examinations this year.
In light of the cloudy conditions caused by this Covid-19 outbreak and the comments obtained by the many stakeholders, the Centre on Tuesday chose to cancel the CBSE Class XII board examinations for 2021.
The choice to cancel the Class XII board examinations was taken at a review interview on Tuesday which has been chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Tweeting the authorities conclusion, Modi said,”Government of India has chosen to offset the Class XII CBSE Board Exams.
After extensive consultations, we’ve decided that’s student-friendly, one which protects the health in addition to potential of our childhood.”
Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra congratulated the students for making their voice heard.
“Congratulations pupils of Class 12 for creating your voices heard.
After all of the uncertainty and anxiety, you have to unwind and celebrate now! All the very best for a happy, healthy and glowing future ahead,” Priyanka Gandhi tweeted.
In a set of tweets, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal’Nishank’ stated,”To guarantee security and safety of pupils, parents and teachers and also to put a stop to the stress in the heads of Class XII students, at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, it had been determined to issue CBSE outcomes predicated on postsecondary standards”
In a different tweet, Pokhriyal stated,”I need all of the pupils the best in their own professions.
I want to emphasise security and livelihood of pupils are of overriding significance to Modi ji’s government”
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted,”I’m thankful 12th examinations are cancelled.
We all were very concerned about the health of our kids.
A huge relief.”
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar tweeted,”Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for putting a stop to the stress among pupils, teachers and parents and cancelling CBSE Class XII board examinations this year.
It reflects the sensitivity of this Prime Minister that has taken this choice to its safety and health of our kids.”
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad predicted the choice to cancel the Class XII board examinations as a daring one.
“Grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for carrying a daring decision to telephone CBSE board examinations.
He’s ever been a fantastic buddy philosopher & guide for those pupils.
His decision to phone the examinations has expressed his profound concern to the health and health of our kids,” Prasad tweeted.
