Nagpur: The Central Railway (Crly) has introduced mobile E-Wheelchair-based services at Nagpur Railway Station on the path of facilities available at the airport.
Nagpur is the third train station in the country after Hazrat Nizamuddin and Delhi and first in the Crly Nagpur division to start service.
Cr has wandered around Delhi-based private operators to introduce services, which are other additions to close their innovative ideas, for senior citizens, patients and others with several disadvantages.
This facility is seen as important for the passengers who will visit Nagpur regarded as a medical center.
With added value passenger facilities, Crly will add RS2.72 lakh per year as non-fair income (NFR).
This facility began on Friday by a team led by a commercial manager of the Senior Division Krishnath Patil, Asst Commercial Manager of VC Throll and Chief Commercial Inspector, NFR, TP Acharya, under the Guidance of the Railway Manager (DRM) Richa Khare.
In the past, CR had introduced a car battery at the train station which charged RS50 per person.
In the battery car, the recipient must share a vehicle with other people too.
According to Cr Nagpur Division Pro CS Rao, e-Wheelchair can be ordered from home through the application or even before de-boarding from the train.
“The cost of e-wheelchair with an audience is RS250 per person,” he said.
