Crowd watches man fall into the market river, swept away

Chennai: Panic Griped Of Kancheepuram residents on Friday after they saw a 53-year-old man was swept away on the river market after holding on to spiked bushes in his bank for a while.
The river has excessive water after the Kavipakkam reservoir in Vellore is opened because of the rain that is unrelenting.
On Friday morning, Karunakanan, a city pump operator from Chinnaiyan Kunam in the Kancheepuram district, was walking towards the motorbike room along the river market.
Motorbike space is near the road around one kilometer from the market bridge.
The area Swushy and the man lost their balance and fell into the water.

After a few minutes, he was seen losing his mind when pedestrians gathered on the bridge warning him to hold on to plants.

“The stream is heavy, and is very difficult to hold on to the bush for a long time,” said an investigative officer.
The video of the man who is swept away by a viral on social media.
Fire personnel and rescue have been deployed to save the man, who was driven by sinking.
“We watched him try to swim back to the beach, but he was withdrawn by a strong river flow,” a firefighter, who is part of the rescue operation, said.
“We have warned people not to go near waterways, but they are still slightly careless, because we cannot predict the flow of water,” he said.
