Hyderabad: The police chief allegedly fired a shot on sub-inspectors and killed him before trying to commit suicide on Sunday morning at 39 CRPF battalions, Muluugu District.
Muluugu District Assistant Inspector Police Ashok Kumar told Ti that they were still trying to know what was transcribed in this incident.
The police said that the police chief Stephen was fired with his weapon at the CRPF Si Umesh Chandra and then shot himself to commit suicide.
“In this case, the Umesh Chandra died in place and Stephen was seriously injured and shifted to the Warangal Hospital.
The problem is being investigated and more details must be updated,” said the district police said.
The incident occurred in the Mess Battalion area at around 8:30 a.m.
