Oscar Winner Batu Emma will return as the ‘One Hundred One Dalmatians’ Cruella de vil in the sequel to live-action film, ‘Cruella’.
The sequel was announced in June, weeks after the release of the film on the streaming and theater platform chosen in the US.
According to the deadline, the director of ‘Cruella’ Craig Gillespie and writer scenario Tony McNamara returned to the sequel.
“We are proud to work with Emma and Disney, and appreciate the willingness of studio to recognize its contribution as a creative partner.
We hope this will open the door for more members of the creative community to participate in the success of the new platform,” Patrick Whitesell, Chair of the Executive Endeavor said about rock clients ‘Cruella 2’ agency and agreement.
Starring starring and executives produce ‘Cruella’, which is the third live-action film featuring Disney Villain.
Veteran actor Glenn Close plays characters in the previous two films – ‘101 Dalmatians’ (1996), and ‘102 Dalmatians’ (2000).
