Bengaluru: With a large surge in the case of Covid-19, the Government of Karnataka has decided to “rationalize” the leaves of illegal government officials by reducing recovery days anywhere between three and seven days.
As an Omicron strain from Covid-19 spread quickly, the government faced a serious labor crisis with officials who were forced to take sick leave after testing positive.
It is said that at least one of three government officials are testing positive, and, in some cases, the situation is “misused” to work from home or pass the task.
Make a reason “We have seen many of our officials using Covid-19 as a reason, even if they are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms, to extend sick leave.
As a result, the department has begun the action to bring them back to work immediately after seven quarantine days,” said a person Government officials.
In the Ministry of Education only, as many as four deputy directors of public instruction (DDPI) have been tested positively on one test, along with a number of subordinates they test positively as the main contact.

However, greater health workers, however, are greater concerns, are health workers – government doctors, nurses and paramedic personnel – who are infected regularly, leaving an excessive health care system.
According to Kindergarten Health Secretary Anil Kumar, the government has issued a circle stating that all health service workers who are the main contact of patients who are positive Covid can return to work after three days if there are no symptoms.
“Our health workers change the main contact every day.
We are unable to remove it from old actions.
As a result, we have issued a circular saying they can return to work after three days,” Kumar said.
A similar task has been issued in the income department, which has one of the highest government employees after education and health.
The principal Secretary of the Department of Tushar Giri Nath said that in accordance with the Government of India’s protocol, the seven-day mandatory period was issued.
“So, we try to maintain the same protocol even now,” said Nath.
