Kanpur: The Chhatrapati Government of Shahu Ji Maharaj (CSJMU) Authority on Monday launched a web portal dedicated to Varsity alumni.
The website was launched by the representative of Chancellor Professor Vinay Pathak.
On the first day of launch, as many as 86 former students took membership of the Alumni Association.
On this occasion, Prof.
Pathak said, “This website will help unite thousands and thousands of university alumni spread throughout the world.
Also, former students will be made by an alumni association member with the help of this launched website.” Prof.
Pathak said that the former Students from various levels of universities affiliated with universities are welcome to join the Alumni Association.
He said that some great university alumni were placed even outside India and did it very well.
The website will help connect all the former students and unite it under one roof.
He said that 25 former students had started an alumni association in 2018 and gradually 500 former students became members.
“We are now targeting to join a former Lakh student with the help of this website.
Former students will also benefit because they will know what their university is up to this day and what our wishes are that we can show off jobs carried out by our alumni To many students who exist and motivate them, “he added.
The alumni association now plans to hold various events in the near future.
“With the help of our former student, the University wants to help people in need, as we can adopt the village and if there are doctors in the alumni association, with their help, we can do a health camp in rural areas or camps to encourage women to advance and choose Entrepreneurship.
With the help of our alumni, we can develop villages, “VC said.
He added that the 2021 alumni award was immediately organized and the nomination process for the same thing had begun.
He said that to nominate, former students can fill out the Google form available on the Alumni Association website.
The website will also help connecting former students and now.
Alumni meetings will be held on the occasion of the University foundation day.
