Kanpur: The Social Work Department in Chatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSMU) on Saturday held a daily training program for women ‘Gram Pradhans’ newly elected.
A total of 45 gram pradhans women from Block Shivrajpur and Sarsaul participated in the training program.
This event was inaugurated by the representative of Chancellor Prof.
Vinay Kumar Pathak.
Professor Administration Dean Sudhanshu Pandiya and Head, Social Work Department, Dr.
Sandeep Kumar Singh was also present.
Profol Pathak in his speech told students and grams of Pradhans how to use development work.
He told Gram Pradhans to solve problems using newer techniques.
He said that the use of solar energy must be increased in villages.
Women Gram Pradhans are made aware of their rights, tasks and how they must make a policy to ensure the development of one hundred percent of their respective villages.
They were also informed about the information on the rights (RTI) and Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme.
They were made to study the operation of this website.
