Thiruvananthapuram: Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) has taken over the case submitted by the key accused of Kerala’s Solar Scam against five members of the National Congress and Vice President BJP AP Abdulkutty.
The Thiruvananthapuram CBI unit was registered against the former Chief of the Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy, Secretary General of AICC KC Venugopal, Congress MPS Hibi Eden and Adoor Prakash, MLA AP Anilkumar and Abdulkutty.
Previously, the woman, who was accused of a series of financial fraud, has submitted a petition to the police about sexual harassment by these leaders.
While firing against five of them was submitted in the CJM court here, which against the anilkumar was studied to be submitted to the Ernakulam CJM court.
The firs are registered based on the place of evil as claimed in the petition by the woman.
The complaint said in 2012, when the UDF government was led by Chandy in power, the defendant persecuted the woman in various places, including the minister bungalow.
While Venugopal is a MP representing Alappuzha later, Anilkumar and Prakash are ministers.
Abdulkutty, who was in the Congress later, was MLA who represented Kannur’s constituency, while Eden Hibture was MLA who represented Ernakulam.
