Kolkata: Calcutta University has abolished all costs for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the academic year 2021-22 because of a pandemic.
This applies to students from all semesters.
“The decision has been taken considering the pandemic.
All entrance fees, tuition fees and inspection costs – for UG and PG students in different semesters will be eliminated for 2021-22.
Students also do not need to pay fees to collect marks or class sheets.
This will give Some help to students and their families, “said Debasis Das, Cu Registrar.
The government has freed application fees to study in government and universities and universities supported by the government.
Some institutions have also decided not to add to the cost of semester this year so that their students and parents do not have to face a further burden in the middle of a pandemic, when many families have undergone a financial crisis.
