BHOPAL: Minister of Chief Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday ordered the ‘tax plan’ for the welfare of cattle in the state.
Cess will be charged to clean funds for cow fodder, the construction of 2,200 Gaushalas, the development of cow sanctuary models and cattle tourism, said source.
Modalities will be done at the ‘Gau Cabinet’ meeting – regulated exactly a year ago – but sources say the government is considering CESS on vehicle registration or liquor sales, or both.
At a meeting of MP Overview of Gaupalan and livestock promotion boards on Friday, CM Chouhan said “Tax Plan” must be done for ‘cow grizz’.
He also ordered the ‘phenyl cow’ (made from a cow urine) used in the government office.
