Melbourne: Pat Cummins Australia will contact Paine’s team before the opening of Ashes on Wednesday looking for an inspiration late before Bowler’s quick debut as captain in Gabba.
Paine, who resigned from the captain because of the ‘Sexting’ scandal last month, led Australia to their first retention from UNR in England for almost 20 years in the Drawn 2019 series.
