Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has called limiting locking applied in the “unscientific” country.
This limitation only leads to the density of people and it won’t do good to reduce the case.
Ima in a statement said the restrictions on the opening of shops and companies led to the density of people in stores when opened.
In many places it has been found that people do not maintain the Covid protocol.
This is purely unscientby for having a total lip on a few days and opening everything in other days.
It will lead to crowding people in those places, which caused the current crisis, said the President of the State of Indonesia Dr.
P T Zachrias.
This is a dangerous phenomenon that we allow people to crow when the store opened for several hours.
The government must hence allow stores and companies to open all day so they will only receive scattered crowds.
IMA also clenched the state government to encourage community testing.
Instead of community testing, what the government must follow is searching and testing contacts.
Contact tracking and house isolation have been efficient in the first phase of the pandemic in the state.
But now it is not strictly followed, said Secretary of State Ima Dr.
P Gopakumar.
At present, if a positive case is reported from the house, it can be seen that all family members become positive in the coming days.
Distribution of fast diseases in the family and many families become clusters.
Therefore the government must concentrate on the shifting of people to first-line care centers instead of allowing them to spread diseases in the family, Ima leaders said.
They also said vulnerable populations must be found through sero surveys.
It has been found that only 30% of the total population has secured immunity through vaccination.
We can remove this pandemic from the community only if 80% of the population is vaccinated and reaching immunity, the IMA leaders said.
