PANAJI: Chief minister Pramod Sawant has convened an overview meeting on Sunday to take inventory of their trajectory of this next wave of Covid-19 at Goa.
Sawant on Friday reported that according to the inputs of stakeholders, then a determination will be taken on whether to expand the statewide curfew or start a calibrated opening upward.
When asked regarding the curfew, that will be scheduled to finish on Monday, Sawant stated multiple variables needed to be considered prior to the decision to terminate the curfew might be obtained.
“On June 6I have known for a review meeting to determine how exactly to extend the curfew or the way to proceed.
We’ll take stock of this situation before settling on the curfew,” Sawant informed reporters.
Goa reported 17 Covid-19 deaths on Friday while the amount of active instances stands in 9,099.
Goa’s healing rate has increased to 92.5 and the positivity rate has dropped to 14 percent.
Of those 4,086 swab samples analyzed, 576 new Covid-19 instances were discovered.
