Gandhinagar: Following a reduction marked in the case of the new Covid-19 reported, the Gujarat government loosened at night at eight major cities of the country, including Ahmedabad.
Instead of 10 nights to 6 in the morning, at night at night it will apply from midnight to 5 in the cities.
On Thursday, 2,275 new Covid cases registered in the state.
The core committee also decided to get rid of night hours at all in 19 cities and other cities.
After the case began to increase in December, the government imposed curfew in 17 cities including Surdendranagar, Dhrangadhra, Morbi, Wankaer, Dhoraji, Gondal, Jetpur, Kalawad, Godhra, Vijalpore, Navsari, Bilimora, Vyarav, Vyapar, Bharuchwar and Ankleshwar.
New regulations will continue to take effect from Friday and valid until February 18, government notices issued on Thursday.
All other Covid-19 regulations remain unchanged.
These include regulations for commercial companies, presence on marriage, the latest ceremony and political, social, education and religious functions.
Home department notifications say public transportation can be played with a capacity of 75% and cinema, fitness center, swimming pool, water park, library, auditorium and assembly room can operate at a capacity of 50%.
As before, parks and parks will still be open until 10pm.
The notification said educational institutions could operate in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education.
