Prasagraj: The High Court of Allahabad has directed the second autopsy to Altaf Miyan’s body, who died in police custody in the Kasganj District in Uttar Pradesh.
Altaf, 22, has died in police custody at the Kotwali Police Station in Kasganj on November 9, 2021.
The court further directed that Altaf’s body the deceased was excavated again in the presence of senior police / police supervisors, Kasganj.
The body after being excavated must be sealed and immediately transported to the Institute of Indian Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
The court is further directed to the whole process that is not sealed and post-mortem and the next sealing if there is a body that will be filmed on the video.
Hearing the writing petition submitted by Chand Miyan, the father of the deceased, the division bench consisting of Justice Anjani Kumar Mishra and Deepak’s Deepak’s justice was observed, “At this stage, what needs a consideration is a prayer made by the applicant that he is not satisfied.

Therefore he prayed for the deceased’s body to be excavated and that the new post-mortem was done on the body preferred in AIIMS, New Delhi.
