Hyderabad: In the main police reshuffle after hiatus almost four years, CV Anand has been appointed as the Commissioner of the New Police Hyderabad as the government transferred 30 officers of the troop officer, Anjani Kumar, who was recently promoted to the rank of DG, was the new Director General of the Anti-Bureau Corruption (ACB).
Late on Friday night, the government issued orders to transfer 30 senior police officers, including several non-cadre sp, ending waiting for several officers who had been promoted a few years ago but were maintained at the same post.
The last big IPS reshuffle was in March 2018 when the government transferred 38 IPS officers and Anjani Kumar made CP from Hyderabad.
CV Anand, who has been waiting for a post after returning from central deputation with CISF, will be charged immediately.
