Cyberabad Cops put brakes at the ISB road speed limit

Hyderabad: Police Cyberabad deleted all nameplets featuring 30 kmphs from the speed limit on 2.63 km from the School of Business (ISB) Road after the Toi reported how the stretch turned into a subtle trap for many commuters.
On December 4, TOI has reported the misery of several commuters called a 30 kmpj speed limit on Jalan Six Lajur with a slope as arbitrary.
Many commuters live in Narsingi, Kollur and the area bordering the outer ring road that often uses the ISB road issued by Challans ₹ 1.035 to speed up the stretch.
Online petitions floated looking for transparency in fixing the speed limit that has approached 2,500 signatures so far.
Citing TI reports, the petition stated that the fixed speed limit of 30 KMPJ had changed the curse for motorists who headed to their office and home in the nearest area.
“Residents are angry at the absurd speed limit on Jalan ISB.
We challenge the logic to post a 30 KMPJ low speed limit for roads that are divided into six pathways with significant declaration where even gravity will attract vehicles faster!,” Read the petition.
After this, Telutana State Industry Infrastructure, is responsible for improving the speed limit on stretching, instructing the police to remove it.
“We got the instructions from higher authority to replace the 30 KMPH nameplate with a ‘slow’ name.
The same thing was informed to the traffic police that had done what was needed,” said Shravan Kumar, Zonal Manager, Tsic.
However, the commuters demanded the authorities to cancel the Challans issued by the police so far.
“Some of us got a call from the traffic police department who informed them about the cancellation of their fast Challans.
The same thing must be done for everyone who suffers because of this ambiguity,” said Sameer Dubey, a resident of Narsesi.
