Hyderabad: Cyberabad Traffic Police have continued the full examination of Drunken Driving (DD) after a three-month gap with the increasing view of the number of road accidents caused by drunk drivers and registering 126 cases on Saturday night.
While following Covid-19 safety prevention measures, DD examinations were carried out.
“It has been noted that many people work for driving under the influence of alcohol without maintaining their own safety and other innocent road users,” said Deputy Commissioner Cyberabad (DCP), Vijay Kumar said.
Traffic police quoted several examples where educated people were involved in a drunken violation of driving.
On June 27, Audi car, driven by a student under the influence of alcohol, crashing into a automatic rickshaw near the Mall inorbit which caused the death of a passenger.
