Coimbatore: Cybercrime police have advised Facebook users to maintain privacy settings at the most limited level after the Conmen established a false profile from a police officer and forest animal officers to extort money.

Conmen uses his profile picture to create a fake account and ask his friends to send Rs 10,000 to a bank account.
“Some FB friends I have told me about a fake account.
Thanks to the intervention on time, it’s blocked.
