Pune: A 65-year-old man who rode a bicycle was hit by a car that was fast on the road along the class separator near KSB Chowk in Pimpri on Tuesday night.
He rushed to the hospital, where he died a few hours later.
The accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m.
when Shrikrishna Paranjape from Udyamnagar in Pimpri came out in the neighborhood for routine cycling.
Traffic relations on duty at KSB Chowk said, “We found the man’s bicycle lying on the road along the wall separator.
The vehicle had to hit a bicycle from behind because the rear wheel was broken.” Prakash Paranjape, the victim’s brother, said, “Shrikrishna, a retired Senior officer Motor Tata, which is used for walking or cycling every night.
” The Navnath ship from Police Bhosari MIDC said, “We have started collecting CCTV recordings.
We have received information that it is a white car.”
