Mumbai: At least 17 people throughout the country have died after the rain and floods that are constantly caused by hurricanes.
The drought-prone marathwada is the worst affected, reporting 10 deaths in 24 hours.
Meeting officials has expected more shower on Wednesday, maintaining district management authorities and disasters on their toes.
Among the dead was a driver, conductor and 2 MSRTC bus passengers who were washed away while crossing the flood bridge in the village of Yavatmal.
Four other passengers safe – two sticks to trees while two ride buses.
Lightning killed two people in Jalgaon, while a man was swept away at Naskaon Taluka Nashik.
Marathwada was alert for 2 days, more than 300 was evered by a bus swept away in Yavatmal owned by a Nagpur depot and was on the way from Nanded.
The driver was reported to lose control when maneuvering through flood water.
The bus takes place on one side of the bridge and is swept away.
The state government said 434 people had died in the incident related to rain since June.
In the last 24 hours, 182 income circles in Marathwada received heavy rainfall more than 65mm, while some got more than 115mm in 24 hours to Tuesday morning.

Chandrapur at Vidharba recorded 100mm rainfall over a 24-hour period.
