PATNA: A total of seven men have been killed and six others wounded as medium to heavy rain lashed parts Bihar on Friday in the aftermath of the cyclonic storm Yaas.
Based on data given by chief minister Nitish Kumar’s workplace,”One person each was murdered in areas of Darbhanga, Banka, Munger, Begusarai, Gaya, Bhojpur and Patna because of cyclone Yaas.
” The CM Nitish expressed despair over the deaths,” an official announcement said.
“I’m with all impacted households within this type of tragedy,” said the statement issued by his office.
“The CM has requested the concerned officials to guarantee prompt charge of Rs 4 lakh since ex-gratia into another kin of all those seven individuals killed in the catastrophe,” his office said.
Four men were hurt at Begusarai district, whereas each in Banka and Gaya districtss, the CM division stated.
“The CM has given necessary instructions to the officers for assuring appropriate treatment of injured people,” an official in the CM’s office stated.
