Prague: Czech President Milos Zeman rushed to the hospital on Sunday, a day after the country held a parliamentary election where Populis PM Andrej Babis surprisingly came in second and Zeman had a major role in building a new government.
The Czech Presidency is a ceremonial post that is mostly but the President has the right to choose what political leaders can try to form the next government.
Earlier on Sunday, Zeman met with Babis, a close ally.
On Saturday, the Centrist Party Ano (yes) was led by Babis, a populist billionaire, narrowly lost the Czech Republic parliamentary election.
The three-liberal-conservative coalition named together captured 27.8% of the vote.
The winning coalition gets the majority of 108 seats at 200 seats, and they promise to work together.
Zeman showed that he would first appoint leader the strongest party, not the strongest coalition, to try to form a government, which would be babis.
