Prague: Czech President Milos Zeman who was hospitalized this week had undergone a medical examination that has not revealed a problem or a disease that will threaten his life, the President’s Office said on Thursday.
The Zeman office said the doctors did CT scanning, sonographic examination, and blood tests at the Prague Military Hospital in which the President was accepted Tuesday.
The President said was only dehydrated and slightly run out.
During his current hospitalization, Zeman will receive an infusion that is not determined and will completely return to his duties next week, his office said.
Zeman, 76, is a heavy smoker who suffers from diabetes and neuropathy associated with him.
He trouble walking and has used a wheelchair.
His predecessor, Vaclav Klaus, who was in the same hospital to undergo an examination after being diagnosed with high blood pressure might be issued this week, his spokesman said.
