Czechs provide extra holidays to vaccinate civil servants

Prague: The Czech government on Friday approved a proposal to provide civil servants who got the Covid-19 vaccine for two holiday days.
“I haven’t found another way to motivate people to vaccinate.
Some people might criticize this as unfair but I think it’s fair,” said Prime Minister Andrej Babis.
Billionaire politicians, which are reasonable food, chemicals and media that employ thousands of people, also ask for private businesses to follow the government example.
“Every good employer and business owners know they have to protect their employees, if not sick employees end in quarantine and this will have a negative effect on the company,” he said.
About 4.7 million Czechs have been fully vaccinated from a total population of 10.6 million people.
The Czech Republic has a strong movement against the vaccine and other anti-covid steps, which includes former President Vaclav Klaus in his staff.
