Dabholkar’s murder: costs framed against 5

Pune: Special Court in Pune on a framed accusation Wednesday against five was accused of the murder of Anti-Takhayul activist Dr.
Narendra Dabholkar.
Dabholkar, who led Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti, was shot dead at Pune on August 20, 2013, allegedly by the members of the right-wing extremist group.
Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) is conducting an investigation into this case.
Criminal trials began to be framed.
On Wednesday, additional sessions of Judge Sr.
Navandar (special judge for the UPA case) asked for five accused – Virendra Sinh Tawde, Sachin Andure, Sharad Kalalasascar, Sanjeev Punalekar and Vikram Bhave, – if they pleaded guilty, all of which answered negatively.
Tawde, Kalalasassar and Andure, who appeared through video conferencing from their respective prisons, looking for more time from the court, quoting that they wanted to discuss their problems with their lawyers.
However, the court refused the request.
Two accused of other – Punalekar advocates and Bhave – appeared in court physically.
The court is frambated against Tawde, Andure, Kalalasaskar, and Bhave under the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) section 302 (murder), 120 (b) (criminal conspiracy), 34 (general intentions), the relevant part of the ARM acts, and parts 16 of the strict old activity (Prevention) Act (UPA) (Punishment for Terrorist Law).
In addition, the allegations against punalekar are framed under the 201 IPC Section (causing the loss of evidence or providing false information to screen violators).
The CBI lawyer and Special Practition Prosecutor Prakash Suryavanshi then said the charges had been framed and the further process for trial in this case was scheduled for September 30.
