Amravati: In a bold dakoity, cash and valuables worth almost RS14 Lakh were looted at the Knifepoint of the house in the village of Marda under the jurisdiction of the Kurha police station in Teosa Tehsil on Monday.
According to sources, 5-6 Dacoits, who spoke in Hindi among themselves, entered the home of Agro Entrepreneur Nilesh Ramesh Save around 1am, broke the back door.
The intruders built several members and warned them not to do any movements, police said.
The intruders threatened family members with knives and demanded the closet lock.
When family members panicked the key, the Dacoit collected gold and silver ornaments and RS3,500 cash, all worth RS13.90 Lakh, and escaped from the place.

Police Inspector Ishwar Wargge rushed to the place along with his staff.
DSP Bargal also rushed to Kurha at night and a supervised investigation.
Fingerprints and dog squad are called to track robbers.
The search has been launched, but the dacoits remain in general.
