Vadodara: The Wishing Factory (TWF), an NGO based in the city founded by Parth Thakur, has established a blood transfusion center in Zydus Medical College and Civil Hospital, Dahod.
Thakur, a major thalassemia, has asked the Indian Pariway Railway Corporation (IRTC) for the two centers where the Dahod was inaugurated on Monday.
The health center-cum-transfusion will help more than 200 thalassemia, sickle cell anemia and hemophilic soldiers from the insufficient part of society.
“The place provided by the hospital is quite extensive.
This allows extensive empty space to carry out recreational activities.
Also, there is interactive space with toys and books for children and a television set for their entertainment,” said the chairman of the TWF and Father Thakur Rajesh , “Settings have maintenance facilities that make it easy to include three lazy seats and two superior quality beds.
It also has a play zone, lounge waiting for parents and front desk,” he said.
