Daily Covid Tally went below 500 in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: City on Sunday recording 405 new covid positive cases, the lowest in the last 42 days.
In addition, it was a 26% decline compared to 546 cases on Saturday.
For Gujarat, it fell 23% at 1,274 compared to 1,646 on Saturday.
With a 3,022 discharge of patients, active cases fell to 14,211 – below 15,000 for the first time after January 6 active case in Ahmedabad was 5,297.
Covid mortality also fell from 20 to 13.
Of the total, three recorded at Ahmedabad, four in Vadodara and one in the city of Gandhinagar.
Eight city corporations accounted for 60% of cases and 61.5% of death.
Of the total active cases, 103 are in the ventilator in the state.
According to a private hospital based in the city, the number of patients received dropped to 80, where 10 were in the ventilator.
The three districts recorded zero new cases; 15 districts have less than 100 active cases.
