Pune: Maharashtra has increased Daily Covid testing to more than 1 lakh since December 7 after the center of the center after the emergence of the omicron variant of the virus.

Pradeep Vyas on Monday told TII that the government gradually increased the daily test to more than 1 lakh test.
“We are very monitoring districts that are not enough to test or according to the norm of the World Health Organization (WHO),” he said.
Last week, the overall weekly wiring petition rate (WPR) was 0.8%.
All districts then register a WPR below 2%.
The districts have been asked to try and reduce Wpr to 0.5%.
This center has notified all states and the United States to focus on intensive detention, active supervision, improved testing, hotspot monitoring, more coverage of vaccination and health infrastructure augmentation after the emergence of omicron.
The member of the State Task Force told TII that even when Covid’s case fell, there should be no weaknesses shown for testing.
“While testing of all international passengers is being carried out according to the new central protocol, testing at the local level must not dip,” said the member.
Former Director of Health Services and Public Health Expert Dr.
PP Doge said the state should not rest until the weekly front and mortality rates decreased below 0.5%.
These two parameters must be achieved, “he said.
