Mumbai: Single daily ticket sales and return travel in both Western and Central Railway almost touched 3 lakh on Tuesday.
Total sales were 2.96 lakh, official officials said Said.A Central Railway said that 1.81,250 tickets sold on Tuesday 16,000 tickets were more sold from the previous day.
An official said there was a demand for the season passed, with a 14,931 season ticket published.
