Daily TPR surged above 75% in two rustic Panchayats

Thiruvananthapuram: While the urban institutional cluster has caused a serious challenge for the Ministry of Health, the level of the Berkkala Daily Test Position (TPRS) at a concerned level in rural Panchayats from the district.
Two local bodies – Kottukal and Ottasekharamangalam – recorded 78.26% and 75.44% of the level of participation on Thursday; One of the highest daily TPRS will be recorded in any local body in the district so far.
In the samples of Kottukal Panchayat 108 were tested positively from 138 and 43 samples from 57 positively tested in Ottasekharamangalam Panchayat.
Health officials related to local bodies said that the spread even and quickly crossed the ward.
Panchayat authorities said that there was a need to ensure strict house quarantine for positive patients.
“There seems to be a violation of the protocol in the process of home insulation which resulted in the spread of disease that was so fast.
We held a meeting of health officials concerned to design ways to ensure home isolation,” said a Perancrayat representative.
According to officials, index patients left the main contact trail which also produced a large number of positive cases.
Eleven other local bodies in this district also recorded TPR above 60% on Thursday.
About 43 local bodies in this district now have weekly TPRs above 40% while only 15 local bodies have recorded a weekly TPR less than 30%.
There has been a significant increase in the level of prospective in the past week in tribal pancagitures such as coing, ambori and vitura and health officials very monitoring outbreak opportunities in various district tribal colonies.
In the Civic body, the TPR weekly has reached 43.09% with 25,561 positive from 59,315 samples.
Six local bodies with weekly TPRs between 60% and 70% have become concern for health authorities.
Officials stated that there was no cluster detected in rural Panchayats so far and that the current transmission was mainly reported from households.
Daily tests cross 20,000 in the district on Thursday and TPR 46.7% are recorded.
All types of testing in the government sector record 60% TPR.
Antigen testing in the government sector recorded 62.5% TPR on Thursday.
Only 2,037 RPCR tests conducted in the government sector compared to 10,945 RPCR tests in the private sector on Thursday.
In the last seven days 94,285 tests were carried out and 40,345 positively recorded at TPR 42.8%.
The government sector has recorded a weekly TPR 52.8%.
Meanwhile, ICU vacancies in the private sector fell from 37% to 12% in just six days in this district.
