Consumer Electronic Brand Daiwa has launched the first WebOS-based smart TV in India.
Dubbed as D50U1WOS, this TV has a 50-inch 4K 4K panel, thin sound assistance and remote magic.
Daiwa D50U1WOS Smart TV: Price and availability of UHD TV 4k from the company with a price of Rs 43,990 and will be available for purchases with leading retail stores in India and through the company’s official website, www.daiwa.in.
Daiwa D50U1WOS Smart TV: The 50-inch 4K UHD panel feature supports a multi-HDR format that includes HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Gamma log).
The panel claims offers upgraded color saturation and detailed black levels for a better overall watch experience.
TV also supports upscaling and the company claims that TV can reproduce low-quality visuals to 4K resolution.
Smart TV 4k by Daiwa calibrated to D6500 color temperature in cinema mode for a cinema watch experience.
Talking about audio, TV claims to bring augmented audio experience with a sound box speaker around 20W coupled with Dolby audio sound technology.
TV is also equipped with MEMC technology (Motion and Motion Compensation) @ 60Hz for smooth blur free visuals.
It also supports – Allm (automatic low latency mode) which lowers the input lag for a smooth playing experience.
Smart TV is powered by ARM CA55 1.1 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
As far as the application, TV supports the popular OTT platform that includes Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Disney + Hotstar, Sonyliv, Zee5, among other things, TVs featuring Wi-Fi dual-band for high-speed connectivity, Miracast and 2 Way Bluetooth 5.0.
The TV is equipped with a remote magic with sound assistance support and is also compatible with the LG Thinq application.
We also say that WebOS LG is one of the best operating systems for smart TVs.
The operating system is one of the richest features among other operating systems intended for smart TV.
It also supports remote magic which provides better control to users of navigation and accessing content.
Until now, the OS is limited to smart TV LG which usually costs more expensive than Daiwa one here.
This is really to see the operating system making its way to a price point that is more accessible.
In fact, we can’t say anything about performance now, but, overall, we think it’s a good step by Daiwa.
