Mangaluru: Polling was quickly witnessed in the electoral district of Local Authority Dakshina Kannada with 99.5% of voters from Dakshina Kannada and the Udupi District used their franchise on Friday.
The selection was held for constituencies that had 6,040 voters in the Dakshina District of Kannada and Udupi.
Voters must choose two MLCs from constituencies that have 377 GPS, including 223 in Dakshina Kannada and 154 in Udupi.

While 6,013 of 6,040 voters have used their franchise, five of the 14 marks in the constituency noted 100% poll.
While Byndoor, Hebrii (in Udupi), Moodbidri, Bantwal and Kadaba (in DK) Taluk have recorded 100%, eight registered marks of more than 99%.
A total of 27 voters in constituencies failed to use their franchise.
Of the 2,915 male voters, 2,902 voted for them.
Meanwhile, from 3,125 women’s voters, 3111 run their franchise.
A member of the 34-Nekkilady GP, who suffered from illness, arrived in the ambulance to the voting furnace to run his franchise.
While GP has 11 voters, ten has run their franchise on the morning itself.

All arrangements have been made to calculate the votes at the Rosario Pu-Degree College in Pandeshwar on December 14, he said.
