Dakshina Kannada reported 307 Covid cases, positivity at 5.2%

Mangaluru: The day after Dakshina Kannada recorded a low-19-19th testing level of Covid-19 (TPR) (TPR) of 3.6%, the district showed an increase in the number of cases everyday on Tuesday.
The district, who reported 219 fresh Covid-19 cases on Monday, recorded 307 new cases on Tuesday.
Regency TPR increased from 3.6% on Monday to 5.2% on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, this district also reported nine deaths that took the death count to 1,443.
Of the nine deaths, four were patients from other districts, who died in hospitals in Dakshina Kannada.
Even though 286 patients were used up, active active cases increased from 2,948 to 2,960.
The district added that 10 other detention zones, including five in Mangaluru Taluk, were two in Bantwal and Belthangady Taluk and one in Putture.
Meanwhile, in Udupi, 104 people were tested positive for Coronavirus novels, and the district also reported deaths related to this disease.
Udupi deaths increased to 418, and this district had 1,265 active cases.
Meanwhile, this district also reported two cases of fresh mukormycosis.
