New Delhi: Former South Africa Pacer Dale Steyn has suggested introducing free hit rules in cricket tests, saying it will help the after-enders “survive” the longer the no-ball bowl bowls.
In Cricket Overs is limited, the free hit is given to the side of batting if the bowl bowl is a feet without a ball.
For a free hit, the striker can be dismissed only in a state that applies to balls without a ball, even if the delivery for a free hit is called a wide ball.
“Free hit for no balls in the cricket test …
What do you think? Will definitely help Bowler (when hitting) survive 7/8 and sometimes 9 ball overs we have seen happens before …” Steyn Tweeted on Wednesday.
“6 balls are hard enough for the enders who face the life of the upper class bowler.” Steyn’s comments came during the final-decisive test between India and South Africa.
The 38-year-old child also praised Pace Pace Ace Jasprit Bumrah, which registered 5/42 numbers, for the fifer.
“By the way, making interesting discussions.
Serious test matches occur here, both bumrah for 5,” said Steyn.
