Hyderabad: Minister of Chief of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that Dalit Bandhu (Dalit Empowerment Scheme) will be expanded even for families owned by government employees and retired employees, in the fourth phase of the scheme.
However, priorities will be given to families belonging to poor and oppressed poor people in the first phase, he said.
CM says another Dalit movement that starts from Huzurabad, will spread such as fire to other countries where people demand the implementation of the scheme.
Even the scheme will get the attention of the world.
CM urges Dalits, especially students, to make a big success scheme.
Chandrasekhar Rao launched the official Dalit Bandhu scheme in Shalapally Village in the Huzurabad assembly constituency where the Rythu Bandhu scheme was launched three years ago on Monday.
Fifteen families were given a check of Rs 10 lakh by cm.
“The benefits under the Dalit Bandhu scheme will be given to all Lakh Dalit families in the state,” CM states that eliminating fears that it will be given only the chosen family.
For the scheme, CM said that Rs 1.70 Lakh Crore will be needed to cover all 17 families of Dalit.
“The scheme was supposed to be launched last year, but because Covid 19 the scheme pandemic was delayed.
Two thousand crores will be released for the scheme in the next 15 days.
In the Huzurabad Constituency, there are 21,000 Dalit families and everything will happen considering the RS 10 lakh each at each under the scheme, “he said.
