Hyderabad: Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday said the Dalit Bandhu scheme will be implemented with the same enthusiasm in the way the state for separate Telangana is achieved.
Claiming he will not rest until the last Dalit family is covered, cm urges intellectually to take a proactive role and brighten Dalit in the scheme.
“This scheme will turn into a movement in this country,” he said.
At a review of Dalit Bandhu in Karimnagar District Collectorate, KCR said this scheme was not intended to collect votes during the election.
He said his government viewed the implementation of Dalit Band as ‘Maha Yagna’.
The government will spend around RS20,000 Crore to Rs30,000 Crore in two to three families of Lakh Dalit a year through a scheme, he said.
“About RS1.75 Lakh Crore will be spent on Dalit gradually.” In accordance with the Samagra Kutumba survey, there were 17 families of Lakh Dalit with a population of 75 lakh, who exercised up to 18% of the country’s population.
“With the population increasing, we will also try to improve orders to SCS in the state,” KCR said CM said the scheme would be launched last year but delayed due to a pandemic.
“I’ve thought of the scheme for a long time.
When I was still MLA Siddipet, I applied Dalit Chaitanya Jyothi and worked for Dalit’s growth.” “Dalit’s condition across the country is sad.
If we see their condition in North India, it’s worse,” He said.
Minister T Harish Rao, Keshwar and Gangula Kamalakar, Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar and officials attended.
