Hyderabad: Scheme Dalit Badhu Dalit The Telangana Government will first be implemented from Vasamalamarri from Thursday.
Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that RS 10 Lakh will be stored in the account of 76 Dalit families in Vasamalamarri Village in Burkapally Mandal in Yadadri-Bhongiri Regency.
“The state government will release Rs 7.60 Crore for villages and funds will be stored in the account of 76 Dalit families from Thursday so on.
Dalit protection funds will be made in the assembly constituency of Alair.
Vasalamarri will be a role model in the Dalit Bandhu scheme and will see development on track Erravelli Village, “CM said during his visit to the village on Wednesday.
CM previously announced that the scheme would be launched from the constituency of the Huzurabad Assembly and even held an orientation program for around 412 people from the constituency a few weeks ago.
He should have launched the scheme officially on August 16 in the Huzurabad assembly segment.
But then he changed the location to Vasalamarri Village.
There are around 100 hectares of soil surplus in the village which will be assigned to the Dalit family, he said.
He also said the 2-BHK houses would be subject to sanctions to homeless people in the village.
CM also directs the Yadadri District collector to provide pension sanctions to the eligible.
