Hubballi: Dalit organizational activist with eggs in their palms, on Wednesday held a unique demonstration in Hubballi, demanding extensions that the government expanded his new policy to present eggs in schools in the district in Dharwad.
The protesters took a rally from Ambedkar Circle, which ended at the Tahsildar office, where they handed over a memorandum aimed at the Minister of Chief.
Urging the state government to not withdraw its decision to present eggs to school children, the protesters said, “The government must continue with this scheme to ensure that children receive sufficient nutrients in their food.” President Samata Sena Gurununath Ullikashi said that the government could provide bananas or other supplements to students who did not eat eggs, while those who want to consume it must be served eggs.
“Should the government withdraw orders, we will launch large stirring throughout the country,” he said.
