New Delhi: Forensic Report has not confirmed the presence of semen in the clothing of four defendants or pieces of burning fabric in a 9-year-old girl suspected of gang-raped and cremated in the Delhi Cantonment area in August, Delhi Police have claimed in the answer sheets submitted before the court here .
The cost sheet filed on October 27 before additional Judge Ashutosh Kumar also claimed that the forensic report has so far not confirmed the blood of the victim in the clothes of one of the four defendants or in the bedsheet whose crime is suspected.
The police have arrested Radhey Shyam, Imam 55 years from the crematorium in the south-west district, and the employee – Kuldeep Singh, Salim Ahmad and Laxmi Narayan – in this case.
Science Laboratory (FSL) Forensic Report submitted with further sheet costs stated that semen was also undetected from the bedsheet confiscated from the defendant’s space in the crematorium.
However, the police said that Singh’s blood was found from shorts and handkerchiefs.
It was said the entry was made in ‘dead entry of the body of the land cremation registers’ on August 1, the defendant’s signature specimen, Shyam, who is the priest of the crematorium.
“Therefore, it is clear that the entry in the register was made by accused of Shyam,” claimed.
The police had previously filed charges in Section 302 (murder), 304 (guilty of murder not as big as murder), 376D (rape), 342 (wrong in confinement), 506 (intimidation), 201 (Destruction of evidence) and 34 (general intentions) of the IPC , Part 6 (exacerbated penetrative sexual violence) from Pocso (child protection from sexual violations) of law and section 3 (violations of cruelty) of SC / ST Act.
