Daltonganj: Two men were trampled to death by wild male elephants in Besra Village in the Laterhar District on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Govind Yadav (45) and Subodh Oraon (30).
They are both livestock.
The waste division forest officer Roshan Kumar said, “According to the local residents, the incident occurred between 16:30 and at 5 am in the forest where both went to graze their livestock.”
