Damaged cellular telephone number racket in Odisha, 2 held

Dash said the crime came to pay attention after telecommunications service providers submitted complaints that many of his customers accused that their SIM did not function while their number was used by unknown people.
They use a 15-digit international cellular customer identity number from the SIM to get a new SIM from their colleagues sitting in various Indian locations.
They activated it by uploading fake documents such as Aadhar, PAN and driving SIM through a Lapu number.
Dash says fraudsters use a simple tool available online to prepare different false identity evidence.
The case has been registered at the Police Station Infocity in this case.
