Mumbai: At least five women were saved and three people were arrested, after Mumbai police damaging prostitution rackets operating on the western outskirts of Malad here, an official said on Saturday.
Five victims, including two minors, were saved in the operation that took place in Manori on Thursday night, the official said.
Acting on the tip-off, an unit-11 branch of the Crime branch invaded two hotels, where they thought they were forced to become prostitutes, he said.
The police have arrested two hotel managers and a woman who acted as pimps, the official said.
